Chinese New Year

Some pics from Chinese New Year...

Learning to Walk

Kaitlyn's been so comfortable with crawling that she hasnt really been motivated to walk. But with a new walker for Christmas from Aunty Vanessa and lots of coaxing from us, she's starting to realise that walking can be lots of fun!

First Birthday

We decided that we didnt want a big party on her first birthday, so we kept it really really tiny and had two small lunches over the weekend - one with Kaitlyn's two pairs of Godparents, and the other with immediate family.

First Christmas

Frankly, I'd hoped that Kaitlyn's first Christmas would have been more significant. I wanted to explain the real meaning of Christmas to her and I wanted her to understand and experience Jesus's love for her

If she understood anything we told her, she didn't show it. But I still hope that in His own way, God was able to touch her heart this Christmas.

She was of course showered with lots of gifts this Christmas. We are very very grateful to family and friends who made Christmas morning a blast for her...

A Month of Random Pics

Its been more than a month since my last update, here are some random pics from the last month...

Godma Tyen & Godpa Harry and little Sophie were back in Singapore for a couple of weeks so we hung out at their apartment pool a few times.

Kaitlyn also loved the swings next to the pool. Here she is with Nikki and Summer.

My little pumpkin is starting to think that she's a big girl and sometimes refuses to drink from her little cup, or refuses to be fed from her little spoon. She'd rather drink from a grown up glass and feed herself with her own hands.

and of course, she has to use the grown up toilet bowl...
